The Picket Pin is an uniquely American pattern created in the early 1900’s by angler Jack Boehme. Boehme is also known for tying the Boehme’s Fancy, which he tied especially for the Madison River. The Picket Pin is considered by some anglers as primarily a Montana fly. Despite this, the pattern has garnered a very strong following of loyal fans the world over.
